The transition has been made!

It looks as if my little Nate now likes his crib. Until last night he would not sleep more them 20 minutes in it, so we let him sleep in his swing. I decided to try again last night and fell asleep in about 2 minutes with no fussing and slept all night! He also took his early afternoon nap in it too! I am so happy! I really did not want him sleeping in the swing much longer since he is starting to roll over and he trys to roll over in his swing! LOL

First Day..

Today is the first day of my new job. I am really sad I have to leave Nathan but I know he will be ok at Grandmas for 2 hours and then with Daddy until I get home. I will be away from him 5hrs a day but that just seems like 5 hrs to many, however I know I am doing what is best for our family and God will take care of Nathan. Randy is an awesome daddy, he has more patience then me sometimes and he is great with Nathan. I know he loves Nate so much and takes very good care of him!

A long time...

Well it has been a long time since I wrote anything. I have been busy growing and eating! I am going to let my mom take over my blog for awhile!

Nates momma here..

Nathan is getting so big! He is 3 months old today! I can not believe how fast it is going! He is smiling and laughing. His laugh cracks me up, he laughs at some of the wierdest things.

He is wearing 6 months clothes! I am kinna bummed since he never got to wear some of his little stuff. oh well he has plenty of cute clothes!!

He is sleeping great. We have him on an awesome schedule. He goes to bed at 8:30 and sleeps till 7:00-7:30am. He rarely wakes up during the night anymore. I am sure the rice cereal is helping him sleep more. Our ped suggested we start him a little rice cereal mixed with breastmilk or formula a couple times a day to help out his acid reflux. It seems to work great. He still LOVES to nurse though. It is definatly his favorite which makes me happy since I love nursing him.

Starting monday he will be spending 2 hrs a day at my MILs house. I have to work part time so he wiill go there Mon-Thurs. I will drop him off at 3:30 and daddy will pick him up no later then 5:30. I am a little nervous to leave him but I know he will be ok.

Well time to go feed my little man!!

I slept for 6 hrs!

I slept for 6 hours straight last night! My momma was so happy. She woke me at 4 am to feed me cause her feeders were full but I would have just kept sleeping if she would not have woke me. Then I went right back to sleep and slept for another 4 hours! Momma is so happy she showered me with kisses! I still don't like my basinet much but I LOVE my swing and sleep really good in there, Ok well nap time for me so laters!

Shopping day!

My mom said we are going shopping today. I have not decided how I feel about that. I usually try and be good but I am boy and shopping is just not my thing! I slept so good last night. I went to sleep at 9:30 and did not wake up to eat until 3 am and then slept until 7 and then till 10. I think I am growing some more. My last Dr appt I was 10 pds 6 oz so I am getting to be a big boy!

Well I guess it is time to go shopping....

My first blog

Hello! My name is Nathan Eugene. I was born on January 27th, 2007 at 10:40 pm. I was a whopping 8pds 13oz, of course I was not as big as my cousins but I figured after all the troubles I gave my mom while I was in her I would go easy on her. I had a rough entrance into the world though. I was kinna stuck so my head came out all coney on one side. My mom thought there was something really wrong but she was assured I was fine, I also fractured my shoulder and no one even knew it. I tried to tell my mom and dad but they did not know my crys yet. But now they know about my shoulder and are very careful with it. I love my momma and daddy. They take such good care of me.

Ok well a little about my family.
I have a great mom who I look alot like including my red hair! My mom is awesome. She really wanted me to have the best in life and has put up with all the woes that breasfeeding involves but I got the hang of it now and I am so proud of her for not giving in, I love the closeness we share too besides that formula stuff really messes with my tummy and my mommas milk tastes yummy!

My Dad is AMAZING. He is always holding me and kissing me. I can tell he can't wait till I get bigger and he can play with me. I did give him a few really bad diapers but I knew he could handle it. My dad is always so calm to. I can be screaming my head off and he is just as calm as can be. He really helps my mom alot. He helps her with laundery and cleaning. He's the best dad I could have asked for.

I also have a grandma and grandpa here in AZ. I am there first gradchild so they give me lots of attention! Sometimes my mom has appoitments she has to go to (like the dentist) and she can't me with and daddy has to work so my grandma watches me. I try to be good for her, but sometimes I cry cause I miss my momma.

I have an aunt Jenny here in AZ too. She has a big dog! She gets a little nervous when holding me but thats just cause I am so little. Once I get bigger she won't be so nervous.

I have a grammy and papa in WA who I really miss. I loved my week with them and can't wait to see them in a few weeks again! They spoil me up alot and even though I am not there first grandchild I know they love me just as much as my cousins. I wish I lived closer to them but daddy said we can go visit every 3 months so they can see me grow!


My aunt in Seattle is auntie Ang and I have not meet her yet. I can't wait for her to hug me and kiss me up in a few weeks. I am totally going to charm her! She has 3 kids which are my cousins. There's Hannah is who is 6. She will love holding me I am sure of it. There's Sam who is 4 and I am sure he will want to show me all his cars but I will probably just drool or spit up on them, and last by not lest there is Zechy. I will show him whos boss, lol. I have heard my uncle Kev is really cool and I can't wait to meet him to. I think I will like him cause he likes motorcycles and thats just awesome.

I also have a great aunt Patti in seatle too. My momma told me that she used to homeschool her so thats pretty cool.

Well I have lots to say but I am going to sleep now. I am even thinking about giving my mom 5 hrs of sleep! I am so sweet eh!
